My Birth Day Present – meet Dana

My birth days suck, it’s just how it rolls and I just try to deal the best I can. This birth day was supposed to be different cause I was going to cuddle baby monkeys all day and night. I didn’t and it wasn’t. I consoled myself with ½ bottle of Fat Bastard (wine, not a person). But!

Airbnb #Twee (Look I can speak Afrikaner)

Ok, ‘speak’ may be a bit of an exaggeration. My second AirB&B in Pretoria was so freaking amazing, I can’t believe the treasures I scored in that city.

And the Puppies!

Just one more post about Stephanie’s place and it had to be the menagerie that is the heart beat and soul of the place!

Stephanie’s Magical Hide-Away

What strange twists of circumstance that landed me here on this wild and wonderful property in the hills of Pretoria! Why Crone?

Why crone indeed. Well it is all about empowerment. Crone is a word that has been turned into yet another weapon to make women feel crappy about growing old.
So I want to take all the air out of that balloon & use it to help me fly by hoisting my crone flag high and proud. You know - "I am crone hear me roar" etc etc. I may not be the wisest one out there but I am a hell of a lot wiser than I was 30 years ago and that's all anyone can really hope for, right?
