Well That Was Special… not

My flight was to leave at 11:30 am Dec.24/16, Saturday. At 2am, Dec.23/16, Friday,  I woke gasping for air. I was to find out later from the emerg doctor I had pneumonia. NONONONONONO Despite my hysterical explanation that I was going to Africa and I couldn’t possibly have pneumonia he stuck to his diagnosis.

A Magic Ride at the Mozambique Horse Safari

By the time we started our lesson the light had softened and the paddock was quiet. Most of the grooms had gone home for the day so we groomed and tacked our own horses.

Non-Horse Activities in Vilankulos, Mozambique.

Some days we don’t have anything to do with the horses. It feels strange but I guess it is good to give your ass a rest once in a while. 🙂

Women on Wheels – WOW

India has always been on my radar in a love/fear kind of way. The intense poverty and filth vying with inspiring beauty and spiritualism has me in a travel checkmate. Why Crone?

Why crone indeed. Well it is all about empowerment. Crone is a word that has been turned into yet another weapon to make women feel crappy about growing old.
So I want to take all the air out of that balloon & use it to help me fly by hoisting my crone flag high and proud. You know - "I am crone hear me roar" etc etc. I may not be the wisest one out there but I am a hell of a lot wiser than I was 30 years ago and that's all anyone can really hope for, right?
